This is a Like New condition Paul Young Midge 6' 3" Bamboo Fly Rod. This rod comes with 2 full length tips, Bag and Original rod tube. The Midge throws a 4wt fly line very well. The ferrules are black anodized aluminum stepdown style.The wraps are black and the varnish is good.The grip is 4 1/2" long shaped to a small blunt cigar. The all-cork reel seat adds another 3 1/2" and is flatted for the reel foot and utilizes two black anodized rings. A cork flare at the base of the seat retains the slide rings. Fly Fishing Root River Rod Co Lanesboro, Minnesota

After a beautiful 60 degree day on Saturday, Lanesboro received about 6 inches of fresh snow yesterday. River conditions are still good. We are seeing blue wing olive hatches and tiny winter stoneflies. Black leech patterns are also working well. Good flies to use would be size 16 to 18 prince nymph and pheasant tail nymph.
